My Holiday Skincare Essentials

Holidays are my ultimate favourite times of the year. Whether it be to a city, a beach, or somewhere to explore, I just love being somewhere different. But getting caught up in the excitement doesn’t mean I forget my daily skincare routine. It’s just as important (if not more important when changing climates) to keep looking after your skin when you’re away, so I’ve put together my list of skincare essentials.

To start with, I’ve chosen French beauty brand Caudalie Paris’s Makeup Remover and Serum. I use them together at the end of the day, starting with the Makeup Remover Cleansing Water. I apply it to a cotton wool pad, then gently wipe off the days makeup. It’s super light and gently scented with camomile. I follow it with the SOS Thirst Quenching Serum. I absolutely adore this product, and usually apply it morning and night as per instructions. I get such dry skin whenever I go anywhere hot, so I apply it before my moisturiser just for that little bit of extra help. Again it’s light, barely scented and extremely effective. Love!

Next up, one of my best moisturisers, the Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb. I apply it first thing in the morning after my Caudalie Serum. It’s full of antioxidants, and contains SPF 10, so my face is protected from the sun too. What more could you want?!

My last skincare essential for the face is my trusty Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips. All the loveliness of Vaseline, but with rose and almond oil, which gives it a lovely pink tint. If you haven’t got one yet, get one!

Now onto the body. I started using this Soap & Glory Bikini Body Firming Formula last summer, and I love it! I’m not gonna lie, it didn’t make my cellulite disappear like I’d hoped, but it did tighten and tone my skin. I started applying it to my thighs twice a day, two weeks before I went on holiday, and carried on whilst I was there. It smells divine – it contains peppermint and citrus oils so it’s a lovely sharp, minty smell. Great if you just want a helping hand with toning up!

Finally, Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner from Lush. Ohhh my god this stuff is amazing. It contains argan oil, cocoa butter, almond oil and shea butter to name a few. It smells absolutely amazing (as you would expect from Lush products!) and it is just fantastic at its job. It leaves my skin feeling and looking super smooth and nourished.

Do any of you have holiday skincare essentials you think I should try? Or do you love these products as much as I do?! Let me know in the comments!
